The America Connects Consortium, funded by the US Department of Education, exists to serve the needs and interests of Community Technology Centers across the country. The purpose of this meeting is to promote discussion between stakeholders involved in the development of community technology centers: employers, funders, government, educators and community organizations. Regional experts will share practical uses of technology and will demonstrate how technology access can benefit the local economy and working families, as well as help to eliminate the digital divide
