Community Technology Centers

The RECA Foundation has been a member of Community Technology Center's Network (CTCNET.org) since 1994.  We are proud of the technology access in the Mid Columbia Region, from the Mid-Columbia 11 Branch Library with hundreds of on-line computers, to school districts having school labs, and computers in the classrooms, to after school programs such as the Boys and Girls Club and YMCA with computer lab access. CBPIN has a long history of starting and running computer labs for specific populations such as migrant workers, the Bbind, low income families, seniors, housing authority members, and non-profits.

We have received tremendous support from the community with reused computers, local funding to develop labs, and extensive technical support to keep the labs up and running. We developed the CBPIN Go Anywhere Wireless Lab 2003 which is used to support a variety of projects and programs that help local groups use technology for success. Our technical staff is always available to help organizations set up additional labs in the community.  Below are some pictures from our past efforts.
