About Calendars
The CBPIN community calendar system is available for use by anyone in the Mid-Columbia region. The RECA Foundation provides the calendars as a public service and encourages underwriting/advertising to help help support this effort. Non-profit organizations, clubs, churches, government, and other organizations are welcome to particiapate by having their own calendar. The RECA Foundation reserves the right to sell header and footer underwriting/advertising for any calendar on this system. For-profit businesses may contract with the RECA Foundation for private (userid/password requred for viewing access) calendars.
The calendar software has many powerful features. Explore the Calendar Help page for suggestions on input design. The system allows for multiple security levels where userid and passwords are required. They are:
- Settings: The highest level - allows changes in the calendars configuration
- Editing: Used to edit/delete entries
- Adding: Used to add entries
- Viewing: Normally set so anyone can view the calendar. However, a userid/password may be assigned for private calendars such as businesses or clubs.
Some other features (at the bottom of each calendar) that new viewers might explore are Block/List displays, Abs/Slide, Select (a new calendar), and Search (keywords).
Individuals, businesses, and organizations interested in administering their own calendar, and/or underwriting/advertising, please use the "Contact Us" link below.
