Tri-City Herald - Sunday, September 16, 2001: Soroptimist International of Pasco- Kennewick has given more than $5,000 for community service awards. The service group presented $2000 to the Women's Resource Center at Columbia Basin College, $1,500 to the Kids Haven program at the Sexual Assault Response Center, $1,000 to the Columbia Basin College nursing program and $500 to a Mid-Columbia family for travel expenses to bring a sister back from Kenya.

Tri-City Herald - Sunday, September 2, 2001:  Soroptimist International of Pasco-Kennewick, a volunteer service organization for women in business, management and the professions, received a $9,500 grant form Soroptimist International of the Americas to provide breast cancer screening to women who can't afford the exam.
