The Internet Ready computer provides Windows 2000 operating system with Open Office software (Microsoft compatible) and other programs to assist in study and work related activities. Donated internet accounts are available for eligible students and low income families. As a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher only low income individuals and non-profits are provided these computers at a refurbishing cost, including setup, training, maintenance for 2 years, and access to an on-loan Educational CD Library.
The Internet Ready Computer comes with Windows 2000 or XP Pro Operating System, Open Office ( Microsoft compatible with word, excel, and PowerPoint). AVG anti-virus, ADAWARE, Spyware Doctor, CCleaner, and two different typing tutors.

CBPIN works with individuals with disabilities to develop
computers compatible with their needs, provide specialized training and
assistance, and assist in obtaining funding for necessary equipment.
Computer Maintenance
All Individuals are eligible for CBPIN’s low rates on computer
maintenance and troubleshooting.
CBPIN, a program of the RECA Foundation, was created to help bridge the “digital divide” in the greater Tri-Cities area. Its efforts to make sure all people in our community have access to computers and computer training stem from the belief that “if you give people the right tools, they will accomplish great things.”
